Northern Boat Brokerage is a full-service used boat brokerage headquartered at 2814 Detroit Ave in Cleveland, Ohio. We specialize in the buying and selling of used powerboats on Lake Erie and across Ohio's northern shoreline — from Mentor and Rocky River in the east to Lorain, Sandusky, and Port Clinton in the west.
We handle the entire transaction: pricing, photography, marketing, buyer screening, negotiation, purchase agreements, lien payoffs, and Ohio DNR title transfer. No upfront fees. Commission only when your boat sells.
Northern Boat Brokerage was founded by Clayton Weber, a lifelong Lake Erie boater with decades of experience in the regional marine market. Clayton has personally handled over 300 boat transactions on Lake Erie — from entry-level fishing boats to six-figure motor yachts — and brings direct knowledge of the marinas, seasonal patterns, and buyer pool that define this market.
This isn't a national brokerage with a Cleveland satellite office. It's a locally owned operation built specifically for Lake Erie.
